Green Collection - Prius "Best Rent for the NPF Buck"!

For every vehicle rented from the Hertz rental pool of their 35,000-car Green Collection, available at 50 US airports, Hertz will contribute one dollar ($1) to the National Park Foundation through June 13, 2008. Hertz pledges a minimum contribution to NPF of one million dollars ($1,000,000).

While all the rental cars in the Green Collection must meet an EPA rating of 28mpg or higher. Hertz has expanded their Green Collection beyond the more conventional, lower fuel consuming Ford, Chevrolet, Buick, Subaru, and Hyundai models, to include Toyota's petrol-electric hybrid Prius, which gets 55mpg! I vote the Prius "Best Rent for the NPF Buck"!
