For the first time out, it was a great event !!!!! I do have two comments, more time is needed for speakers and description of the programs/panels are needed in the brochure.

It was a wonderful, eye-opening experience. I loved all the clothes that were available, there were some super cute skirts, shirts, etc. from India!

It was very inspiring to see many different ages, races, religions, and companies at the Green Festival in Chicago. Very educational for those who are trying to live a healthy and green life. From passing out new Compact Fluorescents to free educational magazines there is something for everyone at the Green Festival.

This festival is wonderful. Tons of great folks to meet and have interesting conversations with. The talks have been inspirational as well. One problem is the space makes the workshops hard to attend. They are in the middle of all the action. For example, Francis Moore Lappe had to talk over loud speaker announcements. Otherwise a great conference!

I am really impressed with all of the vendors and speakers, however the logistics of the venue almost turned me away before i got in the doors... i rode my bike and expected that biking would be encouraged and celebrated. however, taking the lake shore path, i didn't see any signage or personnel guiding me towards the biking valet, a service required if you want the "i biked to green fest discount." after 1/2 hour biking around mc cormick place, getting yelled at by security officials and given incorrect directions, i found the tiny basement room where the bikes were being stored. not a good system if promoting biking is part of this event... i also had planned on going to one of the 11am speakers, but only caught 3 minutes of his talk because of the hassle of biking here... it would have been helpful to have speakers start at least 1/2 hour AFTER the doors open... otherwise you have to run to get there in time... however, the speakers and vendors i've seen so far have been great!

Great exhibitors, speakers, and free giveaways. Amy Goodman was amazing! The only thing I didn't like was that there was very little targeted towards people with limited income. It would have been nice to see how I can be greener and more organically friendly on a budget.

Thousands throng McCormick Place to celebrate Chicago's First Green Festival April 21 and 22! The ground swelling of concern shown by vendors and participants alike brought a refreshing resounding cheers that, at last, we are joining together to take concrete steps to heal our polluted, unjust, self centered world. Over and over the message of unity among all humanity echoed the hall. It has been a long time since I've felt such hope and excitement and found so many joyful families and individual intent to make this world a safer, healthier planet for all. I am very happy to be a part of the beginning of this journey of hope!

We drove down from Appleton Wisconsin to be here. Very excited about the fact that the green movement is gaining momentum. Was particularly lucky to have heard Van Jones and Jim Hightower. Thank you so much for this event. Come on up to Milwaukee!

I found that the festival was well organized and had great vendors. Van Jones was an excellent guest and I really enjoyed his talk. I would recommend a few more food vendors and better enclosures for lecturers. Thanks!
