Amazing
I actually bought this years version instead of the 2007 version, but it is still awesome. By using just two coupons, I have already re-couped the price of then entire coupon book. Plus, anytime i don't know what restaurant to go to, I just open my Green Zebra up and pick from there. They have such a great selection in fact, that we used it to help plan our office Holiday party. Everyone who lives in San Francisco should own a copy of this guide.
Green Zebra helps change stripes...
Last winter, I bought a Green Zebra coupon book from my little cat's best friend and 6 year old neighbor, B. She was so excited to make the sale -- but I was even more excited when I realized that I basically covered the cost of the book with the use of just a few coupons. I think I saved like $30 on one grocery trip. I have used the coupons to visit new restaurants and even have ideas for other projects thanks to this coupon book. I highly recommend it!

Green Savings Shoe-In
I’m a huge fan of this little savings guide. The $20 Rainbow Grocery coupon alone pays for the book, yet a plethora of exciting coupons are spread throughout all of its pages. Buy it, use it, love it, share it with your friends. Endorsed by Mayor Newsom himself, how can you go wrong saving money on things that are good for you and for your community? If you’re already in the green space, this savings guide is a shoe-in.

This amazing book is only local to the Bay Area, mostly San Francisco, but it's hard to imagine a better coupon book for going green. It's $25 but if you shop at Rainbow Grocery you'll get $20 off if you spend more than $100. This book is loaded with all kinds of great coupons off of green businesses: Elixir Bar, Kabuki Springs, Zap Cars, Spring Store, and on and on. It would make a great gift, or it's a great entry point into experiencing green businesses that you haven't yet frequented.
I highly recommend this book to anyone interested in green that lives in the Bay Area. It's a sure winner, and you'll make all of your money back in no time, not to mention get more educated about the plethora of green businesses and services that thickly dot the Bay Area, and need your support

Awesom idea, expand it!!
I love that this takes the coupon book model & put sit towards green services. I would use it more if it was located in my town. Please expand out to Santa Cruz. There are a massive amount of citizens & business' that would take advantage of this and could benefit from what it offers

Green Zebra Kicks Donkey
Why didn't someone think of this sooner??? My daughter's school sent these home as an alternative to the normal Entertainment Book Fundraiser. I love everything about this book. I love that it's smaller. I love that it has 20 pages of informational guidance from tips on what and how you can recycle (and i mean really witty, charming copy) to how to make sure the fish you're buying is safe. I love that it is filled with only green businesses. I love that I learned that some of my favorite restaurants not only are the type of restaurants that use organics and environmentally safe business practices, but that they are the type of businesses that care and joined a program offering coupons to help out. (these are not your traditional *coupon* places.) If I had more family living in the bay area, they'd all get one in their Christmas stocking.

New Green Discount Book as New Fundraising Opp
A new launch of a new readily available means to change the direction schools can fundraise The Green Zebra Discount Guide can be purchased direct from the publisher and paid for in a couple of different ways: http://www.thegreenzebra.org/ The first time I handled The Guide even knowing what was inside I got excited. The idea that a low-environmental-impact guide, also mid-tech (many of the sponsoring organizations do include online access info on the back side of their respective coupon page) could offer a discount to entice new customers to try and returning ones a reward for their commitment to Green. The publisher has all areas of interest covered. They also provide some handy education materials to orient the newbies to the issues of Green.
