I joined after seeing them at the Green Festival. I just moved, so it's hard to tell if it's working just yet, as I keep getting new unsolicited junk mail. However I have already added 2 dozen catalogs and others to my do-not-mail list. I will up the star rating in a few months if I stop receiving all these catalogs.
Update: this service works, 97% of my catalogs have disappeared, but some are a bit stubborn it seems, which isn't GD's fault. It's been nearly a year and I keep adding more as they show up - how do these unwanted catalogs find me?!

This web site will help you deal with your junk mail problems. The company is called GreenDimes. For a dime a day they get your name off direct mailing lists and keep it off, and plant a tree for you every month.
My junk mail has decreased significantly!
