I Don't Get Colds - I Drink it Anyway

Jenn's given you the scoop on Gypsy Cold Care, so I'll simply tell you why I recommend this product: it's like comfort food; I just like to drink it for the cozy-down feeling it gives me. I don't get colds, but I like the taste of this tea so much that I drink it often, and its my first suggestion for cold care to another gypsy that does!

No cold necessary to enjoy this tea!

Gypsy cold care is a delicious combination of herbs that are supposed to help you kick a cold. It contains elderflower, yarrow flower, peppermint leaf, hyssop herb and a blend that contains rosehip, cinnamon bark, ginger, safflower petal, clove flower bud and licorice root.

I always taste the licorice note -- it's not overwhelming like other licorice teas, and it's really delicious.

According to the internet, the herbs in the tea contain the following beneficial properties:

Yarrow - antioxidant and antimicrobial
Elderflower - soothes respiratory tract, reduces fever, helps circulation, reduces inflamation
Peppermint - retards growth of bacteria & fungi, helps soothe your tummy, relieves symptoms of allergies & asthma
Hyssop herb - helps with colds & flu, stomach troubles and topically can help reduce bruises
