So much alcohol

The body lotion drys out my skin and reeks of alcohol. As a matter of fact, alcohol is the second ingredient on the label. Why?

Ecocentric goodness!

Pangea Organics is one of my favorite all-natural soap lines because of their environmentally-friendly packaging and business practices, the sleek design, and the effective results.

Out of all the hand and body lotions, you can't choose a wrong one. The variety of ingredients include:
Egyptian Basil and Mint Lotion
French Chamomile with Sweet Orange and Lavender Lotion (a review for which you can find on this site)
Pyrenees Lavender and Cardamom
Indian Lemongrass with Rosemary
Chilean Red Clover with Geranium and Grapefruit

I appreciate that they put all the ingredients on the packaging. Some products that claim to be "all-natural" don't list all the ingredients, so something seems amiss. But with Pangea, you can moisturize guilt free!

lavender and cardamom goodness

I heart Pangea Organics. Their products are truly worth that few extra dollars you pay for them because they've got the juju goodness of all things pure, fair trade, organic and sustainable. Joshua Onysko the founder resides in Boulder where his company got its start -- he used to make homemade lotions and soaps with his mom and that provided the inspiring foundation for his amazing products. This tan colored, smooth and viscous lotion will soothe your skin, heavy with the scent of pure lavender and cardamom. Just take a gander at the ingredients and it will leave no doubt in your mind that Mr Onysko and co. use only the best.

Smells nice but sometimes separates........

I like the smell and the consistency of how it rubs into your skin to form a matte, protective barrier on your skin. However, I've discovered that sometimes you have to shakeshakeshake the bottle because the ingredients separate occasionally, leaving you with a handful of yellow oil or thick white goo.

I got the itty bitty bottle from Whole Foods to try, and I will be trying more items from this line. Maybe one with a hand-pump might work better?

go ahead. rub it in.

I am very impressed with the products at Pangea. I love the idea of closed circle products, natural body care and natural packaging that can be left outside to sprout basil, amazing. The only thing that I don't absolutely love...is the smell. I find most of the smells to be way too strong. But if you love organic and you love not having waste, this is your product.
