EFA's in a bottle - Just add lettuce

Hempola is a Canadian company (of course) that grows industrial hemp and sells a variety of products such as salad dressing, flour, soaps, and skin care. They also make a wood finishing oil that can be used on cutting boards, salad bowls, and toys, because it's completely non-toxic.

I had Hempola salad dressing when I was in Oregon and it was really good. At first I thought the secret ingredient had to be walnut or hazelnut oil, but it was hemp!

Hemp Spread is Better than Butter

The bread and bagel at the booth interested me because I eat toast with almond butter every morning. The spread on the dark hemp bread tasted like butter, but better. I asked what it was and it was a spread made with hemp oil. I know that hemp seed is rich in Omega 3, 6, 9 fatty acids. Now that I know that these products are available at Whole Foods Market, I will look for them and turn on my housemates and friends, too.
