just awful!!!
It took munching away on 4 to 5 chips before the flavor really kicked in, but once it did, I wanted to eat the whole bag... well, I did eat the whole bag. The Jalapeno pepper seasoned-chip infused with a hint of raspberry, strawberry and garlic make for a unique burst of flavors when it finally hit my palette and not too hot, either; just right. The ultra-light texture is somewhat like Cheetos, but even lighter. Although coated with seasonings, Hippie chips aren't greasy and the seasoning doesn't coat your fingers in a sticky mess like Cheetos snacks and other brands of seasoned chips. Less fat and fewer calories are good selling points, but I think I would tend to eat more Hippie Chips than conventional potato chips, because it would take more to satisfy my appetite. The potato chips are baked in a a quirky shape (not as pictured on the package (mostly round)), as best I can describe it. The scalloped edges easily break off inside the bag, leaving you to nibble away on mostly small broken pieces rather than medium-size chips as they were intended to be. Overall: I love the flavor, think Hippie Chips are a healthier alternative to other chips, would prefer a little more substance to sink my teeth into and I definitely would prefer a different shaped chip.
