Address map 4918A Sonoma Hwy.In May of this year I scheduled an appointment with Dr. Chalmers in the hopes she would help with my cat’s constipation. Most everyone these days knows to be healthy humans and animals alike need to move their bowels on a daily basis. Just to be sure Dr. Chalmers understood what I was dealing with, I brought with me seven small jars of a weeks worth of daily stools, and two dishes of her daily amount of cat food.
I found Dr. Chalmers to be a nice, thoughtful woman, who takes her time with you. I was sure I had found someone who would be able to treat my cat’s constipation problem. About $570.00 dollars later I found that I was wrong. While Dr. Chalmers does take her time with you, she often repeats what she has already told you, and with billing at $2.20 a minute your bill adds up quickly. She also forgets things she does say to you that has to do with not being charged for something. Twice, this has occurred, and when pointed out, she denied ever remembering saying it.
The last and final consult with Dr. Chalmers - twenty two minutes and $45 later, yielded absolutely nothing of value to me; no recommendations for pro-biotics, no recommendations for digestive aids, no recommendations for a change in diet, no focus on the problem, just Dr. Chalmers jotting down my responses to homeopathic questions that had absolutely NOTHING to do with constipation, which was the ONLY reason for my call. She is a rich person’s doctor; she rests in her comfort zone, (which is quite slow), and discusses things as if you had all the time in the world, then charges you for every “minute” she spends with you, which includes every Chart note she writes. In the past I've worked for two medical doctors and never known a doctor to charge for their Chart notes. I've spent $570, wasted precious time in trying to heal my cat, and I still have one sick cat.
