Natural lip balm.
Usually Burts Bees has some really good lip products. Granted not all of them are 100% green to the core, but they are endurable. The lip balms I've always purchased. Recently I tried out their Honey as opposed to my ususal Medicinal or Pom. But such a surprise. The moment I opened the cap I knew I had made a horrible mistake. There is this overpowering petroleum/synthetic fragrance smell. Looking at the ingredients list the only offender I can pinpoint this repulsive smell is 'flavor'. Whatever that might be. I tried wearing it outside and my friends immediately noticed. They all thought there was some sort of chemical spill. So yes, 1 star. Horrible. I can't even return it. And no, it smells NOTHING like honey. Flavor is also mysteriously vague, which could be a long list of different synthetics that try to improve the bad balm. I won't be buying anohter one in this lifetime. I still keep it in my drawer to show coworkers how bad it is just for fun.
Ingredients: beeswax, helianthus annuus (sunflower) seed oil, cocos nucifera (coconut) oil, lanolin, symphytum officinale (comfrey) root extract, FLAVOR, honey, tocopheryl acetate, rosmarinus officinalis (rosemary) leaf extract, tocopherol

Quite disappointed with this product. I find myself needing to re-apply this lip balm every hour or so because my lips just don't seem to stay moisturized. I even started getting chapped lips after using this product. Although I did fancy the honey scent, I will definitely continue my search for a more natural & effective lip balm.
This balm would crumble onto my lips, leaving chunks so I had to start warming up the tip with a lighter so it would go on smooth. I would not buy this again.

I wouldn't buy this again. I was excited for it since I love the smell and flavor of honey, but it just didn't cut it. The consistency is different from the other lip balm and it doesn't go on as smoothly. The honey smell is overpowering. Just not that great.
