A beautiful and sustainable winery with delicious wines
Coming out of reviewers block, I wanted to tell you about this really beautiful winery that is also sustainable. It was the last stop out of 3 wineries we visited that afternoon, and while I was a little tipsy, I was excited to learn about how this place practiced being green. I learned that they have solar panels which generate more energy than they use and so they give it back to the city. Also, they use only organic pesticides and fungicides to grow their grape vines. They run their tractors on bio diesel. They do a lot more - you can check it out on their website - or just go up there for an afternoon, sit in their breezy dreamy, courtyard and enjoy a glass. Their sommelier will tell you all about it. The price of their wines are completely reasonable (starting at $17) and very tasty. I left with 2 bottles.
