Instead of using pots and pans use your tin cans from veggies and other goods for cooking in when you go camping.
They make great pots for making coffee and soup. If you get a canned ham you can use the can for a frying pan on the camp stove.

My only comment on this is very few cans in the US aren't lined with plastic. Some or most have BPA in them still. So before you take this suggestion, feel the inside of the can and determine if you want to proceed.
