How to Treat a Bee or Wasp Sting

by Cris B.

Natural, Simple Solution for Getting Relief.

This is what my mom did for me when I was a kid, and what I did for my kids when stung by a bee or a wasp: apply a paste of baking soda with a little water or mud. Pack a small mound of the paste on top of the sting and let it dry. It's a natural, simple solution that gives relief. Next time you head out on a nature walk or hike, a bike ride, picnic or camping trip, take along some baking soda in case you have an encounter with a bee or a wasp. [Bonus tip: to stop the itching of mosquito bites, rub with wet soap.]
