Troubled South LA youth are learning about the simple pleasures of being outdoors thanks to "Mr. Crenshaw". It's changing their lives!

Crenshaw High School Eco Club's founder Bill Vanderberg, Crenshaw's Dean and Eco Club Advisor has a growing membership. Students' perceptions are changing and their lives are being transformed by their involvement in Eco Club adventures. Once they experience the contrast between struggling to survive a hostile urban environment with the discovery of the healing, natural environment of the great outdoors that lies beyond their urban boundaries, the world suddenly becomes a universe of possibilities.
