JAK Designs is a small business in San Francisco, and what makes it stand out is that is has been around for 10 years. Manufacturing and selling handcrafted clothing. Green. Sweatshop free. Stylish. Successful. Jen Armstrong, the owner, is an idealistic entrepreneur and artist. She is dedicated to being a responsible community member while growing this excellent business nationwide. When all other clothing manufacturers produce in poor countries to make a buck, and some green clothing businesses import at a low expense, Jen strives to spend her dollars locally and leave a small footprint.
