Beautiful site but not my best meal

This is a pretty expensive place owned, I believe, by folks who used to work at Chez Panisse. I've eaten here once, and it was pretty darn expensive, but the food was unremarkable. (Neither my friend nor I felt it was a good value for price, or even all that good, but it may have been luck of the draw--we just got an off night.) My experience at Bay Wolf, which is next door and equivalent price, was much more positive, in terms of quality and delectability of the food. And down the street is Dopo, which is less expensive, and which is consistently excellent (I've eaten there at least a dozen times over the last two years, and never been disappointed).
