Keen footwear
My first purchase from Keen was a pair of their Venice Sandals. They have lived up to the reputation of being an extremely comfortable sandal. Their design also protects the toes making them great for anything from sidewalks to beaches to trails. My second purchase was a pair of Ventura shoes. I was looking for a pair of shoes that are not made of leather. The Ventura is a totally vegan shoe that is not only comfortable but is also durable. One downside to this shoe is that it is made in China. Are there any shoes made in the USA anymore? My most recent purchase was the Grand purse for my girlfriend and is the reason I am unable to give Keen 5/5 stars. The shell of the purse was made from 100% reclaimed rice paper and the bottom is made from 100% recycled inner tubes. Initially, the purse had a really cool design but the rice paper began falling apart after one month of use. Although a great concept, I would not recommend the rice paper purses made by Keen. However, I would definitely recommend Keen's sandals and shoes. After all, Keen got their start as a shoe company not a purse company.
