Almost a Quick-Stop Grocery & Deli in the Heart of Eugene
Kiva, my favorite corner grocer-deli and bookstore in Eugene, is close to the bus station - for those on foot, or a short walk from the downtown library. There is a parking lot that can accommodate a half-dozen cars or so. Although it is a relatively small space, the store is packed with people every time I stop by; and, it's packed with healthy choices: bulk foods, baked goods, organic produce, herbs, supplements, organic wines and a great deli with orders-to-go service. Don't be in too much of a hurry, as lines tend to move slowly and those going in and those coming out tend to jam up near the door...grab a book by the register, like I do, to pass the time. Be sure to take a cloth shopping bag along when you go.
