888-336-3017This company is a bad company to purchase from. I ordered a product from this company and received a product that was not as advertised it obviously had an issue with it and the owner of this company would not allow me to return it. When I contacted Kush Tush to try to return it, I was called a JACK***. The owner of the company would not return phone calls and would not do anything about it but sent me rude, harsh, emails, and not take care of the issue at all. I finally got in contact with the manufacturer and they allowed me to return the product and they emailed me and confirmed that there was a problem with the product. If anyone wants the emails showing how rude, harsh, and what the owner of Kush Tush called me please email me and I will forward them to you. There are over 30 emails back and forth from this company. PLEASE SAVE YOUR TIME AND MONEY AND DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY. BAD BAD customer service!!!!!

I guess I'm not the only one!
I ordered a crib puddle pad from these people, never received a confirmation of my order, then after waiting 8 days, finally wrote to them asking for a confirmation. I got no response! So I ordered a similar product from somewhere else, and received the product in 4 days....then after 5 full days, kushtush finally responded to me saying my order was backlogged and would get it sometime this week (keep in mind it has been 2 weeks since placing the order!) I responded letting them know since I didn't hear from them I ordered elsewhere and to please cancel my order. Now they are making me pay a 35% restocking fee! Ludacris!!! Are you kidding me!!??! STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!

Two weeks ago, I placed order for a crib duvet cover from Kushtush. The website is full of caveats and urges its customers to be patient, but that does not excuse the owner from the simple services of providing updates or answering inquiry-emails. To date, the only correspondence I have received from this company is an automatically-generated receipt. I still don't know when my duvet cover will arrive. I am fairly patient, and willing to wait longer knowing a business is a smaller, "mom and pop" operation, or the quality of the product is really good. But I will not wait three months, as the other customer mentioned in a review below. Before placing the order, I should have recalled that I emailed this same company back in November to ask about their wool duvets. I never received a response from them, so I ordered from another place. I am wondering does this company even exist anymore? I plan to give it another day or so to account for the holiday, but after that I am calling American Express and telling them not to accept charges from this vendor. I can buy the item from other websites for just a few dollars more.

I ordered a couple of items from this site more than a month ago - 3 hours after I placed the order, I changed my mind about one item and decide to change it for another. I looked for a phone number and realized, they didn't have one, the only way you can communicate with them is through email (no phone number? that should have been a red flag). So, I emailed them about the changes that I want. After a week or so, I noticed that I was already charged the whole amount of my original order, so I emailed them again - they told me that they didn't get the ORDER CHANGE email (which is I don't believe it - you got the second email but not the first one?) but will get in touch with the supplier and will try to make the change. So, I emailed them back and said to keep me posted. After a few days, no updates, I had to email them again and ask. Got a response - they said that they submitted the change request and caught the order before shipment and waiting for some confirmation. After 9 days from the last email, I'm still waiting for the second item (at least I got one of the items) and I just emailed them again today asking for some updates. This is really frustrating!
I understand about delays but customers would appreciate that they should be informed and not be left in the dark!
I'll never buy again from this site!
Hello, this is Kushtush Organics | Eco Sleep Shop. Our customers are important to us, and "hanging up" the phone or being rude to our customers is not acceptable under any circumstances. We are very upset over this post and are attempting to identify this lady so we may work with her to correct the problem. Kushtush Organics | Eco Sleep Shop understands completely that backorders or delays can cause frustration and disappointment. This is not what we want for our customers. We want our customers satisfied, and proud of their organic purchases. As to anyone being rude, we are reviewing what happened internally, and making immediate changes to ensure that does not happen again. While we do expect staff to be treated fairly and without abuse, we want our customers to know we care very much that they feel comfortable contacting our company with their concerns. Please do feel free to contact us at customerservice@kushtush.com, and we will do our best to respond within 24 business hours. Thanks so much for supporting the Organic Industry, and for caring about the Environment! - Kushtush Organics | Eco Sleep Shop.

I ordered several items and am happy with the quality of all the items I received the problem is I placed my order 3 months ago and am still waiting for one of my items. I have sent many emails regarding this missing item and have been extremely frustrated with the customer service. They have been very rude. I have tried to call them but have actually been hung up on both times I have called. They say their phone number is strictly for placing orders and they can not help you over the phone. They also will not allow you to cancel your order once the hand to made product has begun the manufacturing process. Seems reasonable, except when you are kept waiting in the dark for 3 months

Dear Customers:
Early in 2009, we implemented a new shopping system for you, in response to your issues, that provides instant automated order confirmations, order tracking online, and shipping expectations on product descriptions, for your convenience. When placing orders, please be sure that customerservice@kushtush.com is not blocked, so that your notifications can make it through. You can view the new catalog at http://ecosleepshop.kushtush.com. We also worked to identify and eliminate, many of the external relationships that caused inexplicable shipping delays for our customers.
Please check out our Returns and Exchange Policy at http://ecosleepshop.kushtush.com/return-policy.aspx. More information can be found on our web page http://ecosleepshop.kushtush.com/shipping-policy.aspx.
Do let us know if there are issues we can address, as policies have been modified several times to suit the needs and requests of our customers, within the guidelines of our suppliers and manufacturers. It is important to get to know our policies first, because acceptance and agreement are needed at checkout to complete your purchase. Please remember, that many policies are at the discretion of organic manufacturers; particularly when warranties are involved.
We have literally served thousands of customers since 2004 and are proud of that, but still get very upset when occasionally things do go wrong. Backorders, occasional missteps or errors might occur, as with everyone else, but we remain committed to serving customers well. Remember too, that suppliers do close on holidays and in many cases, weekends too, so responses may depend on business day availability.
As the economy improves, we will be able to implement additional conveniences for you, including (hopefully) additional staff available to address your needs by phone more quickly. Until then, please work with us by email given the economic limitations of lack of staff, and we will always do what we can to help

Yes their products are great - since they order from different vendors. They are simply a reseller.
What I don't like about kushtush is their customer service. It is the WORST
Check out their customer service web page to understand their policies - they are very anti-customer.
They take all the money up front, but if you ask for an update, they write nasty, rude , and very attacking emails.
They do not provide regular updates, and get very personal.
There are a lot of vendors to order from - ecobaby, happyplanet, etc.
If you want good customer service, do not order from kushtush, unless you like to feel like crap after someone has your money and has not sent your order.

It's hard for mommy and daddy to stay awake perusing the Kushtush website for organic bedding for baby! Everything they sell is so cozy and so comfy you just want to dive in and do a belly flop onto one of those organic cotton comforters atop one of those Vivetique mattresses....zzzzz.
Most all of their cotton comes from the US, they have numerous green affiliations, and they have a recycle page entitled "Organic Bedding: Sustainable, Renewable, Recyclable". Besides their wedding and gift registry and blog, there are pages and links that go on into dreamland.
I've been reading reports lately about chemicals in mattresses related to SIDS, so one very important feature for moms and dads to note is that Kushtush has "certified organic solutions for those concerned about allergies, MCS, and SIDS".
