Great Product - Poor Packaging
I was thrilled to find a perfume free detergent that won't irritate my sensitive skin. The only downside to the Seventh Generation laundry detergent is the container sizes it is available in. They need to package it in larger containers like the environmentally not friendly counterparts. That way households with more people will be more inclined to purchase it for their many loads of laundry. Overall, great product, I recommend it for every laundry room!

Get real
This product doesn't work and the diluted formulas (16 loads) are a terrible waste for the environment.

dosen't clean very well...
I tryed few times... because this is the best eco-friendly laundry detergent I found and I love the smell but it dosen't clean very well, especially the white socks.

Great Product
Seventh Generation is gentle on your skin and is also great for the environment. I like the Free and Clear, because there is no perfumes or dyes that are harsh on my skin. They have a lot of great other products too.

hypo-allergenic laundry detergent
This fragrance free liquid laundry detergent has no petroleum base, unlike most mainstream laundry detergents.
It's vegetable based and biodegradable, safe for our water systems. And best of all, this product works excellently and doesn't leave your clothes smelling like chemicals. And it's superior for the hyper-skin-sensitive.

great cleaner
It does a great job cleaning. Works better than tide without the harsh smells or stripping the clothes of their color. It's nice to be able to use the same cleaner for all my clothes.

Environmentally Better
Not extremely powerful but I put some baking soda in with it and it seems to work better. I like that it is safe for the environment. I'm tired of putting harsh chemicals down my drain.

Powder laundry detergent
This is a good product that leaves clothes clean with a neutral scent. IT does seem to be more concentrated that mainstream laundry detergents.

Natural great smelling detergent
Seventh Generation laundry detergent is gentle enough because of the all natural substances they use. There are no harmful chemicals and still cleans clothes as good as other brand detergents. Also, the lavender scented detergent isn't too strong and leaves a light scent on your clothes. It is a great product!!!

I love seventh generation
I've used some of the other organic products in the past, but I always felt like I didn't even wash my clothes. Seventh generation however changed my mind on earth friendly products because it cleans well and puts my activist mind at ease.

natural is best
thank goodness there are alternatives to harsh chemicals and perfumes in detergents being used that end up in our bloodstream and our environment.

launtry detergent
The seventh generation detergent seems to clean as well as Tide or Arm and Hammer and doesn't seem as harsh. I've raised 3 kids and done a lot of laundry so I think I'm qualified to judge. I also live on a creek with spawning salmon so it makes me feel good to use a product that is harmless to our water supply.

So, so clean!
I love this stuff! It gets my clothes so clean and I feel like a good person when I use it. I like the crystally kind the best, 'coz its in a box and then I don't feel bad about buying plastic. I just learned of the new lavender kind, which excites me to new levels and I cannot wait to try it out! Gonna go wash some clothes when I get home!

You really need to try ECOS. It is amazing! It is ALL plant based and has a soy based softener so no need for softener/dryer sheets. It really cleans better than any other detergent I have ever used! You can also buy it... more »
