Turning Over a New (Neem) Leaf
I'd never heard of the Neem leaf and products until recently. The long list of benefits can be viewed at the Neem Team site: http://www.theneemteam.co.uk/index.html. However, the brand I bought at Wild Oats, and review here, is ORGANIX. Their products are grown using sustainable practices, and they hold high standards for their formulations. I purchased both the Thera Neem Leaf & Oil Lotion and the Neem Leaf Oil (working wonders on my dry cuticles and damaged nails from gardening, but stinky!). The lotion is a luxurious blend of soothing, cooling ingredients that diffuse the pungent odor of the Neem Leaf Oil, and drenches my dry skin with a hydrating and nourishing non-greasy bath hinting mostly of fresh grapefruit. Although I am greatly benefiting from using Neem, I bought it for my daughter to put on my grandson's dry, splotchy skin rashes that are covering his summer-tanned body. We're hoping Neem works it's magic. I'll let you know the outcome.
