I had forgotten about Bragg's Aminos for several years. Then the other day one of my friends reminded me of it, so I sprayed some on the brown rice I was cooking and added almonds. It made a really flavorful, quick, and easy vegetarian meal and both of my children liked it (which makes life SO much easier for me)!
Bragg has been making products for over 90 years, and its liquid aminos are probably at the top. A great alternative to soy sauce or tamari, it's great in cooking, in dressings, and on salads. With 16 amino acids in it, you get a healthy dose of the building blocks of proteins, extracted in the form of vegetable protein from non-GMO soybeans. The sodium content is exceptionally low, Bragg liquid aminos is not fermented, is gluten-free, contains no coloring agents, preservatives or alcohol. However, it's easy to get tired of if you have it all the time, since it's a powerful flavoring agent. I recommend using it a couple times a month, once a week at the most. At least, that's what I do, since I get tired of it otherwise.
