Listener's Bible - A Green Approach to More Word, Less Paper

What could be greener than using less paper. And what book has more pages than the Bible? Any complete Bible will be a compilation of sixty-six books. The Old Testament in my college study bible is 876-pages. For the past four years, I have been listening to the Word while doing chores and driving my car. I find that I am hearing much more than I ever read. I have recycled all my extra-biblical books and additional bibles, by donating them to church libraries. I listen to Max McLean's Listener's Bible, available on CD, MP3, and downloads. His marvelous voice holds the listener's attention. I don't tire of listening to him, because he's not theatrical like so many other narrators. The Listener's Bible is a paperless presentation of the Good News. The other good news is Green News: as more people transition from paper bibles to audio bibles, imagine all the trees in the field clapping their hands! amen?
