Livin' Spoonful - Handmade Cracker Company

I discovered Portland Oregon based Livin' Spoonful's vegan, raw, sprouted crackers at KIVA in Eugene. Besides crackers they make Hummus. They've been making their raw food products since 2002. Their website gives retail locations where you can shop for their products.

Because they take raw ingredients and dehydrate them at a low temperature, the enzymes and nutritional value are very high. I like their handmade products because they are fresh, lively, and gluten-free. You can eat their cracker products plain, as a snack, use them with dips or spreads or crumbly them onto a salad. The packages come with four medium-size wafers, maybe 3'X3"). They do crumble easy, so once you open the bag, you'll want to store your crackers in a sealable bag or container to avoid having crumbs everywhere and to keep them fresh.
