I created an 11X17 poster for a Rhythms & Blues concert in Eugene last year featuring blues legend Honeyboy Edwards, and wanted it print it on eco-friendly paper. So, I contacted Living Tree Paper Company, in Eugene. They helped sponsor the event by donating the paper. "Natural" (off-white) paper is hard to come by, but they had an excellent natural colored paper that took the ink well; it has a smooth finish, is made with 90% post-consumer waste and 10% hemp/flax, and is chlorine-free. I was completely impressed with the quality. The posters turned out great! Living Tree has a beautiful presentation packet of their samples, for those inquiring about purchasing their paper products. I understand that they now offer printing services using soy-based inks. I recall the owner's background and story of how she started Living Tree Paper Company being absolutely wonderful! I'd like to hear it again.
