I've found that not all Annie's products are created equal, most are great. I especially like Annie's Mac & Cheese products for a quick-fix meal - for me, especially the gluten-free. When I have a Mac Attack, I grab a box from my pantry; in minutes I have a tasty entree to satisfy my appetite. I find that it needs extra cheese and milk - low-fat, soy or rice, for added moisture and creaminess. Great for breakfast, lunch or dinner...add pre-cooked Annie's Mac & Cheese to make a cast-iron skillet frittata with eggs, a little more milk product, spinach, sauteed veggies and mushrooms, as well as your favorite herbs. Cook until its slightly crispy on the bottom, but don't let your frittata dry out.

Every once in a blue moon (funny that's it's blue moon in June as I write this) I'll make some Annie's mac and cheese, the white cheddar kind.
The other day I melted in some sharp white cheddar as well. Highly recommended. Not a nutritious snack, but kids love it (and you know how they can be difficult to please!), there's no artificial junk or trans fats. And every once in a blue moon it tastes great and it's super easy.

I feel good about giving my kids something that tastes great and is all natural. I will never go back to making regular mac and cheese! The different shapes and varieties are great too! Whole wheat shells and white cheddar is my personal fave!

My 2 year old is obsessed with Macaroni and cheese so I wanted to find something organic that tasted good. She likes the "orange" shells and cheese. Sometimes when mixing the cheese powder get clumpy, I just add a little more milk. Good stuff though.

When I first discovered this small box on the shelf, I was intrigued, when I tried it I was hooked. It is a wonderful product that can be transformed into quite a meal with some easy additions (petite peas, tomatoes, asparagus etc). I highly recommend this as a health and tastier alternative to the old school mac and cheese on the market.

I enjoy eating the bunny macaroni as a snack or for a quick lunch at work. It's easy to make, doesn't dirty many dishes, and I find the shapes amusing, even at my age!

The Annie's mac 'n cheese shells w/ white cheddar is probably my favorite mac 'n cheese. Add peas to it for some added flavor (and nutrition). It's about as cheap as the other stuff, but is completely organic. Mac 'n cheese isn't the healthiest meal, but if you have to eat it, this is the way to go.

Annie's macaroni and cheese is generally considered a hipster and "healthy" alternative to Kraft macaroni and cheese and other convenience meals. However, when one compares the nutritional content of Annie's to that of Kraft, it all looks about same. Annie's claims to be "totally natural" but what is that exactly? One might assume "totally natural" means organic, but I'm not sure. They have products specifically labeled organic, so... I don't know.
They do offer other pasta options though. Rice pasta, whole wheat pasta, and others too, I think. That is always nice for people with a gluten intolerance.
All in all, Annie's macaroni and cheese tastes good, is sort of okay for you I guess, has kind of sketchy marketing, and offers options. I weighed all those facts and gave it a 3 star rating!

I have been so happy will all the food products I have purchased from Annie's, but the mac and cheese is the best! I have 4 small children, and I think most moms can vouch for the fact that mac and cheese is always a hit with toddlers. Annie's has helped de-stress difficult days by providing a healthy, quick alternative.
