Surprised not to like it

This is the first Straus product I haven't absolutely loved, so I was surprised. The yogurt had a thin, almost watery texture and the maple tasted artificial. It's made with organic maple syrup and organic milk, there's nothing artificial about it, except - I guess - the taste.

I tried two cartons, just to make sure the first results weren't a function of poor handling, but the second carton was identical to the first.

Straus is a great company and I love every other product of theirs that I've tried. Maybe the tip for maple yogurt is to buy their plain whole milk and add your own syrup.
