Great new local eatery!

Finally - a wine bar in my neighborhood! Granted, wines by the glass are a bit pricey, but it's nice to support a local business from time to time.

Marc 49 has a decent wine list - they also turn out great panini and salads. The restaurant is very nicely decorated in dark brown wood, low chairs and tables, and offers an outdoor dining area in an enclosed, heated patio. They recently added a couple of tables in front of the restaurant on Telegraph with some twinkle lights and a sort of arbor anchored with some big wine barrels (as charming as it is, we'll see how long that lasts before it falls to city codes or vandals).

The service was pleasant and the food was quite tasty. I will definitely visit there again -- it's perfect for a light meal and glass on a Sunday night.
