A Road Trip Organic Grocery Favorite!

If only all the little towns on my route to camping or weekend trips had natural grocery stores like Mariposa Market. This is a great place in the center of town with fresh baked goods, produce, vitamins, toiletries, frozen foods and fresh juice as well as some great hippie clothing (tie dyed socks anyone?). The staff are friendly and it's just like going to visit mom's friends... ok, maybe your parents weren't hippies, so it would be like visiting *my* mom's friends.

Don't get sucked in at the big box stores on the south end of town (if you're driving north on 101) - just keep going across the railroad tracks and past the first big intersection, and when you see the scary breakfast place on the west side of Main St, Mariposa Market is just past that (on your left if you are going north).
