Mattel to Pay Out 12m in Lead Toy Settlement

Remember the 2007 recall for toys made in China and containing high levels of lead? Well, it’s settled.

Mattel has reached a settlement with 38 states, agreeing to pay out $12m dollars after its toys were found to contain levels of lead well above the acceptable limit under federal standards.
