Variety of lunch combinations with dine-it and take-out facility. Prepare with organic ingredients.
Address map 161 Sutter St.I've eaten at the Medicine Eatstation several times and I definitely like the Wild Mushroom Ramen. It's a little on the bland side but that is what I expect from a basic ramen dish. I always feel great after eating it, not stuffed or bloated.

I went here once right when it opened, and was completely uninspired. The idea of a whole bunch of veggies and brown rice and tofu was great. But it didn't taste like anything. Even I, the bland food lover, thought it was just so boring.
I went back again, and had a similar experience. I wish it was better, the concept is good. But really, it's just a place where people can feel smug and say oooo I'm eating such pure food. OK, maybe that's dramatic. But you get the gist. :)
And, I also don't understand why everyone is having these logos with the letter "m" I feel like I see them everywhere in the city!

I came here with my vegan friend. I love the concept of this place- rice bowls and tofu and steamed veggies. Simple, healthy, tasty food. Good for your body and good for your soul. I really wanted to love this place, but I just didn’t think the food was that delicious. I ordered the curry bowl, and was not excited about the curry sauce. I tasted my friend’s (mango?) glazed tofu and I didn’t think this glaze was very good either. If they improve their sauces I think this place would be supergreat. We need more restaurants with this kind of concept. Also, I think the restaurant would be better sticking to vegetarian dishes. They used to be all vegetarian/vegan, but recently re-opened with seafood options.

I've been here so many times I've lost count. The curry udon is suculent and hot; good for cold days as a soup alternative. I really enjoy eating any dishes with purple rice in them. They are currently redesigning their main room to be more quiet acoustically. They've also added fish and meats to the menu...

i think this is a bit of an acquired taste for most people, but i really love the food here. well, i love what i order here, which to date, has only been the rice bowl with yummy ginger tofu and mushrooms. after my meal, i'm totally full and don't feel gross from eating a greasy meal. it's a cafeteria style restaurant, with hipster chefs. the downside to this, is that it gets super loud, which isn't very zen. i tolerate it because i *heart* my rice bowl, but i'd rather everyone do as the zen buddhists usually do, chow down quietly. i guess i can't have my tofu and eat it too.
