Good roastery and outdoor/indoor work cafe for Rogers Park community
Good food, fair trade products, good coffee, a large variety of teas, merchandise and wholesale coffee store a plus, good outdoor and indoor well-lit work space. Also a great venue for hosting and advertising a variety of events in the community. What every large cafe should aspire to be, although some more comfortable space would be nice.

Metropolis Cafe Fair Trade
Metropolis is a family-owned fair trade cafe and roasting company that supports local causes. They have the best coffee in the city and show educational movies at the cafe. The owners are friendly and always willing to help local groups.

Really Good Coffee
I heard about metropolis from a friend. I go there almost every day on my way to work. I work there sometimes. It's a great environment. The coffee is fabulous. I am pete's lover but metropolis is right up there. The roaster is in the store. What a treat. local roasting with a global vision.
