horizon organic milk

I have been using organic milk for a long time and used mostly Organic valley products but when not available I used Horizon as a substitute
After doing some research I came across a slew of information on Horizon and the deceptive representation that the company makes in regard to their own dairy farms that are no more than factories with 8000 cows in pens where the pasture is purely symbolic
This is a fraud. As a consumer I am willing to pay more fore a truly organic product but I get mad when I am deceived.
Do not take my word for it just google Horizon milk visit their website and then see the photos of their dairies on Cornucopia.com. as well as may other sites that report on the legal trouble they have experienced and see if the photos of the dairies are what you think an organic dairy should be
Horizon is a fraud and I am not buying their products any more
As consumers we can vote with our money and it is the purest form of democracy. Sort the wheat from the chaff and spend your money with honest products

Horizon's vail

Horizon is owned by Dean Foods, one of the largest milk producers in the country. Many Horizon cows live on factory farms and stand in their own waste most of their lives. Until Horizon can prove otherwise think twice before you buy from them.

Tastes good but that's about all it has going for it...

WAY too many problems with the integrity of the company. VERY expensive-$3.78 for a half gallon. And most importantly, cow's milk is for calves, NOT humans. Go to www.notmilk.com if you want to kick your milk habit and learn why you should.

It really does the body good!

Horizon Organic milk tastes so good! I will never go back to regular milk! I love knowing that my milk is organic and healthy without hormones, and pesticides, It's a more natural holistic approach to farming, agriculture and better for the animals and the environment. I use many of the Horizon organic products.

Horizon Organic Milk

Milk that is produced without growth hormones, the cows are treated humanly, and it tastes good. I am a vegetarian, but not a vegan. I know that most dairy products and eggs are produced under horrible conditions for the animals in corporate farms. I am grateful to find products that are produced on farms where the animals are treated well.

yummy organic milk

I drink this milk because it's organic - good for my body. it's delicious and nutritious. I would love for Horizion to come out with a raw organic milk too - this company is in better standing with me than the one supplier of raw milk in the Bay Area. you can do it!

Horizon Organic Dairy Products

Love them! Besides being organic, Horizon dairy products are available at many non-organic and non-health food stores like Safeway and Martin's, so I don't have to go out of my way to get the organic dairy products.
Very good and very convenient! I have used only organic dairy products after watching woody Harrelson's documentary about his bike trip on the west coast stopping at organic farms, etc,. love horizon products and love that they are available in many non-health food, non-organic grocery stores.
