The ugly stepsister of the Miso Cup Family
Miso Cup is a bit plain -- it works great if I'm sick or at work and just want a straight miso broth to keep myself going.
Generally speaking, miso flavor and quality can vary wildly. Miso Cup is a standby which has been around for 21 years. It's not as rich as fresh miso soup but it works great for camping trips or to keep in the office as an afternoon snack when a cup of peppermint tea isn't going to work.
It only gets 3 stars because you can't recycle the envelope -- it's not just paper and it's not just foil... sorry guys!

Simply the BEST Instant Miso Soup
It's really quite simple - Edward and Sons makes the BEST instant miso soup on the market. Do NOT be put off by the fact that it does not come in a wasteful plastic bowl like some other brands. You supply your OWN bowl or cup! The type that I like best is the kind with the wakame. It comes in the green box or package. It is SO good. Plus it provides an easy way to get some greens in your diet even when you are on the run and don't have time to cook up a fresh batch of the greens of your choice. If you like miso soup and if you like wakame - the Edward and Sons soup is SIMPLY the BEST!

I usually like Edward and sons stuff, but this was a little bland for me. perhaps because of the reduced sodium??
