Non-Toxic Nail Polish

Anise Cosmetics' Professional Nail Colors are seasonal collections of gorgeous matte and shimmering nail polishes that are non-toxic...free of formaldehyde, a known carcinogen associated with headaches and asthma, and free of toluene (methyl benzene), derived from petroleum fuels, which is associated with nervous disorders, tremors, liver and kidney damage. My personal, seasonal picks are Folktale Fantasy, Diamond in the Rough, Savage Garden and Royal Jewel. I protect my polish with an anti-chip, fast-drying top coat by Nail Aid.

Non Toxic Nail Polish

Nail polish is among the highest-concern product categories in terms of serious health effects in cosmetics. Anise nail polish are not made with toxic chemicals, such as formaldehyde, toluene and dibutyl phthalate.

I get regular manicures and I read about the toxic chemicals in nail polish on the Campaign for Safe Cosmetics website. I had no idea how many chemicals are in most polishes so I recently started using the Anise brand and bring it with me when getting manicures.
