NVOB is a nascent organization dedicated to educating the community about the benefits of waste vegetable oil fueled vehicles, promoting a friendly legislative environment, and providing technical and legal resources for both the VO car owner and for VO-related businesses. Although very new, the NVOB has great potential to be a national clearinghouse for information. The website (www.vegoil.us) is well put together and shows what the NVOB intends to become soon.

One person's determination to step away...or rather drive away from the domination of polluting, fossil fuels has grown into a national organization. This woman's efforts--starting with the conversion of her own vehicle to a system that burns used vegetable oils as a major fuel source--have gone a long way in spreading the word that alternative fuel systems are viable and are most certainly not just for a small group of fanatics. I am excited by this concept and I give my highest level of praise to the efforts of www.vegoil.us and the National VegOil Board.
