Stick with the fruity flavors...

I love the idea of Blue Sky natural sodas -- all of the products have no artificial colors, flavors or preservatives. However, they do use high fructose corn sweetener, something that I try to avoid.

Also, I've found that some of their products just don't taste great. The Cola is "meh" and the Root Beer is not nearly as good as Hansen's root beer.

I've been pretty pleased with Grapefruit and Lemon-Lime -- they are citrusy, refreshing and tasty -- in a pinch. Given my druthers, I'd pick something without a corn sweetener.

Blue Sky does try to help the community - last year they ended a 2-year long program to help save pets and prevent cruelty to animals by donating 10 cents per Blue Sky soda tab sent in to them. That's a pretty good program!

Blue Sky and HFCS

Although they ship with bio fuels, they put high fructose corn syrup in their drinks. How is that sustainable? I wrote them and asked and they responded that HFCS comes from corn and is therefore natural...I responded with a lengthy page on the health risks associated with HFCS and did not get a response back.

Favorite, lesser known sodas

Even the can design is appealing to shoppers ... the soda is clear, without artificial colors unfortunately it is available in natural foods stores but should be marketed in mainstream stores
