Great food, benefits community

I've consistently bought the best organic strawberries here - never had better anywhere else. The woman at checkout examined them closely and replaced a couple that had soft spots!

Also, if you become a member (free signup), a portion of your payment goes to a local nonprofit, which varies. Cost of food is as high as one might expect, given small size and quality produce. At same time, the cost of their delicious deli items is very competitive with other providers in town.

impressive

We recently were vacationing in the Peterborough area and had lunch at Natures Green Grocer. It was a wonderful experience and we thoroughly enjoyed shopping there also. The owner, employees were courteous and friendly. Their backyard patio overlooking the flowing river makes one appreciate nature. We certainly will make it a place to stop for lunch next time we are in the area.
