A couple MUST KNOWS about using soap nuts in non-traditional ways.
NaturOli is taking proactive steps to make soap nuts more affordable & safer for laundry and household cleansers. Right when we are all stretching our bucks as far as possible, while being concerned about all health hazards, NaturOli is taking responsible CONSUMER oriented steps. As the company founder, our roots began in developing natural, healthy SKIN CARE formulas. Hence, we saw detergents and household cleaners through a different lens.
1) We don't promote use of soap nut powder. It's becoming increasing popular by sellers, but BY FAR it is the least economical way to use soap nuts. The problem is regardless of how fine, the saponin (the active ingredient) is not fully released before it ends up down the drain. Remember this is a fruit - not a synthetic. A 1/2 oz of nuts used in the traditional method (wash bag) can do 4, 5 or more loads. A 1/2 oz of powder does ONE load. Period. To worsen the problem, sellers are charging a premium for powder. If the powder is what you want, NaturOli recommends using a coffee grinder and grinding them yourself to the finest dust possible. Try reducing the suggested 1/2 oz to a 1/3 or 1/4 oz. Save pieces that don't grind to use traditionally. The lab is working on out-of-the-box uses for powder.
2) Be EXTREMELY cautious of ALL soap nut liquids. My review & analysis of an official "Materials Data Safety Sheet" that was reluctantly provided by an Indian exporter was frightening. Apparently, in the rush to quickly get a liquid to market, the exporter ruined the saponin's healthy, green characteristics. It read like it was arsenic!!! Incredible! NOTE: This does NOT need to be disclosed to the consumer. There's no FDA requirement of full disclosure for detergents & cleansers. AND the cheaper liquids WILL be produced in India & Napal. You can bank on it. PLEASE don't expect the label to tell you this. Buyer beware! NaturOli will NOT import liquids. All NaturOlil liquids are, water extracted, made in the USA - and SAFE!

Excellent Natural Skin Care, Natural Soap and Soap Nuts
I have been using NaturOli products for about three months now. Their natural skin care and natural soaps are just wonderful. Every label or tag on every product shows each ingredient, nothing hidden and all natural, none of those long chemical terms in these product.
Their soap nuts are the best! I tried three other companies and didn't like the packaging or the quality of the other three. When I got my first order of soap nuts from NaturOli I understood why they call them hand sort select. The soap nuts are bigger, almost completely whole soap berries, and not sticky at all like some companies were. I read that when soap nuts are sticky it means they are already releasing the saponins or have been improperly stored. I want consistent results and that's what I get in every load of laundry I wash with NaturOli Nuts Soap Nuts.
If you want a company that really believes in producing quality natural chemical free products then you want to get all your skin care, soap, and laundry detergents from NaturOli. You will be hooked for life.
They also package EVERYTHING in recycled packaging. This company REALLY cares about the environment and their customers health and well-being! Visit the website and you'll see how much information they give about everything they make.
