So good, they won an award
I like Numi Teas, but now after reading about their efforts in waste reduction, I will buy their tea first over other brands. In 2006 they won the Waste Reduction Awards Program of the Year. They never use plastic cellophane packaging and their boxes are 100% post consumer recycled material. Over 184,000 lbs of waste has been saved from landfills since they made that packaging switch in 2004. This is what every company should be doing. I just found a new brand of organic tea to try at the store and when I opened the box, each tea bag was individually wrapped in plastic! Thankfully Numi doesn't do that.

Numi Tea makes unique and delicious teas
The teas Numi makes are delicious and unique. They have so many varieties and the packaging is very attractive; in fact, the paintings are very artfully done by a member of this company. Their teas rock!

Truly Sustainable Teas - NUMI TEA
Not only are all of Numi Teas of excellent quality and made of the finest ingredients but they are also a wonderful group of beautiful people who are entirely committed to sustainability. Numi has lead the way in ensuring fair trade standards and practices from all aspects of their business functions and have often gone beyond the call of duty to ensure that communities, the environment, and their customers all benefit. I am proud to purchase Numi regularly.

Tea
I have tried Numi tea and have found that it has a good taste and quality to the tea. I know that their are developmentally disabled individuals who work hard to put together these products and I think its special that they take their time and Numi endorses these workers. I like the product and will continue to drink it.

NUMI TEA REVIEW
SO FAR SO GOOD small Oakland based company big leafs, full bags, no fake oils or flavors even taste good in cold water at work when I am teaching and don't have time to get hot water. fair traded and they really help the villages where they get their teas so the down side the air tight package is not compost able, but recyclable there is a staple which probably breaks down in compost, or you can rip it off everything else is dandy no plastics

I discovered Numi Teas at the Green Festival in San Francisco, CA in 2004. Their teas are truly fantastic. They are whole leaf, no dust here with out added oils to enhance flavors. I love their chai roobis ;)

My tea experience
I was in seattle one weekend and went to a diner and tried Numi tea for the first time. I was so exciting and thrilled to try this tea because it was organic, free trade, kosher, etc. I LOVE IT!

Tasted a hot sample at the Green Festival. Unusual blends, but the flavors are not particularly strong. Good for people who cannot take caffeine.

Why I Like This Tea
I am not really a tea drinker, however, when I saw the flows, I was curious. I felt the need to find out more about the product. I am sold on this product now. I bought some and will take it back home with me.
