Bird Series Binders - fab!

The stunning feather binders are my favourite. My office is full of them! Who wants boring, purely functional, unispiring grey when you can have the O'Bon bird series? Full of colour with striking photography and the best bit, they are made from recycled cardboard. What more could you want to brighten up your desk!

O'Bon!!!

I love drawing and I've used numerous amounts of pencils for my artwork. Being the person that I am, my pencils always end up being broken and damaged and they don't last that long. I discovered O'Bon pencils one day which were recommended by a friend of mine. I've never turned back since then. I love the L'Artiste Series. It gives my sketches a wider range and I absolutely love how professional they look. It's got this metallic look and feel to it which I really like a lot. Since I got the L'Artiste Series for drawing, I've also decided to buy the regular O'Bon pencils just for everyday use. I'm really glad that there's a product like this that's out there, not only does it benefit me, but it also benefits the environment by being eco-friendly.

O'BON = eco-elite? Almost definitely.

Every time I see an O'BON pencil - I smile. The fun, vibrant colors always put me in a good mood whenever I use the stationery.
Being very clumsy, I drop my pencils almost everyday. Unlike wood pencils, which break whenever you look at them; O'BON doesn't whenever you drop them! Don't believe me? There's a video of a O'BON pencil being run over by a big car.
O'BON is affordable, and I hope it will be taking over the office stores soon!

Very Cool!

No matter how technological we become everyone needs pencils and paper and the design of these items are very cool besides being green in every way! When you sharpen your pencil be sure to look at the shavings very carefully. Very cool!

Something Different

I just love O'BON. They have been selling well in Asia for several years, and I am so happy they are finally coming to America. Their strategy of vibrant colors and unique designs is just what the Eco movement needs. I would buy O'BON products even if they were not so eco-friendly...as they are just so damn beautiful. In fact, many people don't realize their pencils are made out of old newspaper until they sharpen them. This unique plumb comes out instead of wood shaving. Cool.
The notebooks are a great new product range as the graphics on them are simply stunning. O'BON seem to have a message on them...support healthy eating (eat more fruit) or protect wildlife (celebrate the peacock). But using sugarcane paper is truly unique. Never seen this paper before, but to stray away from woodbased paper is so important as these industries are really big polluters (rank 3rd from the worst).
So, O'BON has my vote as the place to go for stationery products.
Truly, O'BON is "Something Different."

O'BON-green is the new Black.

My first O'BON experience was through one of them O'BONanza notebooks. It's amazing how an orange can look so much juicier on the cover of a notebook then the real thing! It instantly brightened up my school load, thus making me hate school just a little bit less. They're so affordable, I had to get more. My environmental professor complimented on them once, and I told her how it's made of sugarcane paper which uses a lot less energy to produce than normal paper products. She loved that, and sure enough next week I saw her with a couple of notebooks of her own! She's waiting on her next shipment of O'BON's infamous newspaper pencils now.

So all in all: affordable, pretty, great for the environment. (G)O'BON!

Sooo Pretty

I first encountered O'BON when I saw their booth at the 2008 San Francisco Green Fest. Their display shone like a colorful beacon in a sea of earth tones! Now, I like a nice burnt sienna or a soothing ecru as much as the next girl, but can I get a royal purple or a bright raspberry frappe with my eco-friendly pen? Please?! Thank you, O'BON!

I also love the beautiful photos of fruit gracing the covers of their notebooks and folders. My current favorite is the cherry notebook. Looking at it just makes me happy, and then I remember that O'BON also uses recycled materials and donates a percentage of their profits to non-profit organizations. So, in a nutshell: a win-win situation!

How can Green possibly be so colorful?!!!

When I first saw these products, my heart nearly skipped a beat. I almost had a hard time believing they were green products, because eco-friendly usually means eco-ugly.

ECO-UGLY NO MORE!!

They have the most brilliantly colored folders, binders and pencils. The pencils are super sturdy and make pretty spirally designs when you sharpen it.... which I then throw into the compost! You can even use the shavings to make gift bows.

The paper in the notebooks are made from bagasse, which is sugar cane (haven't tried to taste it yet). I want everything they make, its just so ridiculously beautiful. The great part is, they're also priced in line with non-green products. It's kind of an obvious choice for me.

Can't wait to see what they come out with next.
