Local "high end" dins

Though I don't eat here more than once or twice a year, I am really happy that a restaurant of the calibre of Oliveto is in my neighborhood. They have delicious food and are very good at providing a tasty vegan option when I dine there -- delicious pasta with seasonal vegetables, usually. The ambiance is great and the wine selection is very good.

Transportation is very convenient - it's right next to Rockridge BART and several AC Transit lines.

Nice sand dabs you've got, there

I liked this place from the moment I popped in. Everything was nice, except for the view of the freeway. I hope that goes the way of the embarcadero.

Sumptuous dishes, suave service, pricey. I would eat here once or twice a year but not more than that. Cactus across the street is better for the price! :)

Great food

Oliveto is a treasure. The downstairs cafe is less pricy that upstairs, but my experiences in both have been very good.
