Very tasty...tart and delicious

AND it only has about 3-4 ingredients. It's a little funky to spread but you get over that easy enough.

YUM!!

This is the best blackberry jelly I've ever had. Really. It's good for you and tastes even better!

Also fits into the 100-mile diet, being made in Brentwood.

Great Fruit Taste, Not Too Sweet

Frog Hollow is a great farm in Northern Cal that is really known for their stone fruits. I visit their booth at the farmers market every week to get free samples!

This jam was great and not too sweet and has a strong blackberry flavor. All ingredients are organic. The only downside is that they are pretty expensive.

What I expect from jelly.

I do not expect transcendence; rather, something to welcome me in the morning without too much extreme. This stuff definitely would do that, but at the same time, I don't think it was spectacular enough for me to go out of my way to get.

weird consistency

This jelly was genuinely jelly. It was really solid, and didn't have fruit chunks in it. The flavor was pretty tart as well. I have to give thumbs up for being a small business, local to CA, and organic. But this jam is not for me. I bet I'd like other less tart flavors, though.

eh, not for me

I can see how someone would like this, but I was a bit grossed out by it. It was verrrrry very gelatinous, which turned me off from the get go. Secondly, it was too tart. I actually love tart food items, but that combined with the texture didn't work for me.

Tart Blackberry Jelly

Local to the San Francisco Bay area, this jelly is organic and reasonably priced. The blackberry flavor was noticeable and sweet, but not too tart. This would be great with goat cheese on crackers or maybe on an english muffin with butter.
