butter up with bucolic Clover cows' butter
This butter tastes bright and creamy and has smooth texture. A friend told me that Clover's standards are so high that there isn't much difference between the quality of their organic and conventional dairy products, excepting the price. Since I know that Clover works closely with family farms, does not allow rBST, and recently said it would not support proposed legislation allowing cloned cows to be used in the dairy industry, I am inclined to believe my friend. Regardless, their dairy products are top-notch, and I truly trust their brand. It's also nice to know that my dairy isn't coming from halfway across the country, since Clover is local to Northern California, particularly Marin and Petaluma, where the cows cross bucolic orange fields and actually have room to wander and breathe!
