A purchase worthy of making, eventhough its slightly weird at first. My boyfriend used to be anti-reuseable sanitary products, but now even he sees the benefits. It's helpful to put liquid detergent on them before throwing them in the laundry basket, just to ensure a clean return. They are totally comfortable as far as pads go but, the keeper is still my preferred tool.

A Review for Women
Glad Rags are cloth menstrual pads that are so comfortable and clean-feeling. It feels great to be a non-contributor to the landfill. Many women dispose of hundreds of pads and tampons a year, but with Glad Rags, we are keeping the earth clean. It is also very healthy and makes that time of the month less stressful. Menstrual cloths worthy of your moon
I began using Gladrags in the first year they came on the market. Maybe that's 15 years now(?); I NEVER went back to throwaways. Gladrags were the first to figure out how to make washables really practical: by separating the layers so that you choose how many layers to insert depending on your blood flow. This design also means they dry quicker to wash & wear. Gladrags come in unbleached organic cotton and other colored and print brushed cotton and are available in all good natural food stores

Go Organic Down There
GladRags cotton pads are the answer to what used to be my conundrum of using organic tampons during the day and then switching to toxic, synthetic, rayon pads for sleeping. These organic cotton pads are not only pretty (I bought the emerald green ones), but they absorb much more than a synthetic pad does. I use the day ones for nighttime and they are still super-absorbant. I highly recommend these!
