Tasty and good for the farmers

Eating Kopali Mango is the closest thing you get to sitting in a mango farm in Mexico. It's tasty and seems mildly sugared, although it's only natural mango sweetness. But this is serious snack food for the serious snacker, like me.

Enough of a snack to weather your mid-afternoon low blood sugar. It's a real investment, something like $3.99, but you're supporting a good company that lays it down for the small farmers in these often remote areas, that are as good as endangered in light of the agribusiness that is taking over many food-producing countries.

You sit down and give a read to the label and get the story of food and health. Also try the chocolate-covered espresso beans to get a real lift!

I say it's a buy. Next they'll do something with their plastic packaging :).

I wish I had a never ending supply

I tried this for the first time today. I went to the grocery store late last night and it caught my eye. I had been looking for snack-like things to carry with me because I'm working really long days lately and don't have time for meals. I used to carry around dried fruit, but got really sick of it until I found this brand of dried mango!

I can't tell you in words how yummy this stuff is! The texture is good-- no added sugar or weird powdery coating or consistency. I'm a huge lover of the mango and this is by far the best dried mango I've tried. I bought a small pouch and regretted it when I was done eating it. I wanted more. I'm going to see if there are larger ones, but I imagine it will be out of my price range as an everyday solution to my lack of meal time. I will buy it again though. However frequently I can.

Pair it with some almonds, and I'm good to go all day!
