just the right amount of mint in this mate tea

I'm new to drinking mate. I think I avoided it because the marketing made it sound so powerful and my tummy has a bad reaction to too much caffeine, especially in coffee. This empower mint tea has a nice flavor and just the right amount of mint and after an hour my mind feels more awake and my tummy seems fine.

Packs a minty punch

Not too sweet, packs a minty punch, I liked this tea a lot. I would buy it again. I'm not generally a mate drinker, but I enjoyed that it didn't taste like mate (which is a little bit like dirt). Also I think this company is local to the San Francisco Bay area, a plus for me, and the company that makes the beverage is uber-sustainable.

Mintalicious!

This mint-flavored mate drink is awesome. I really like how the soothing properties of mint have been incorporated into this drink. It's a natural complement to the mate flavor...now I'm just waiting for the late afternoon pick-me-up to kick in!

Really minty, if you're into that sort of thing...

This drink was good, but the mint was so strong I could not taste the mate flavor. If you don't like the grassy-ness of mate tea, this might be a good drink for you. I personally like mate flavor and was overwhelmed by the mint.

New favorite tea

I've always been a fan of mint teas. First it was the hot mint (peppermint) teas that I discovered, than I discovered bottled mint iced tea. The great thing about mint teas - they're naturally sweet! And on Sunday April 22nd at the Chicago Green Fest, I discovered Guayaki's own "Empower Mint" tea. I've sipped it all day long and I am still feeling energized, even after being on my feet for 6 hours, shuffling thru crowds of people and visiting booth after booth. With antioxidants in gear (and with some yerba mate in the mix), I'm feeling this to be my new favorite mint drink! Mmm-mmm!
