darling Darjeeling built on sound principles

Anything Equal Exchange does benefits all -- they pioneered the concept of Fair Trade back in the early 90's, before anyone else was really doing it. They work with 100s of farmers and are an extremely successful, worker-owned cooperative. This green tea, hence, is more about the farm than the tea, at least for me, because the mission it's built on is truly inspiring. And the payoff is a heckuva cup of Darjeeling green tea, Fair Trade Certified, USDA Organic, and just plain delicious with its overtones. However, it's still better to buy loose tea, since there's 3 layers of packaging before you get to the tea itself. And they've got that, too, I think.
