I find myself stressing about things from time to time which raised my blood pressure. After getting over the initial shock, it was time to figure out how I was going to lower my pressure. While Dr so and so wanted to prescribe medication, I had other ideas. After two weeks of research, I began drinking hibiscus tea in the morning and evening. After about three weeks, I went back to the doctor and was told that my pressure was normal. Now, not only do I continue to drink the tea, but I am also using it on my hair and skin, and have it for sale in my shop as well.
Here are some of the things I found out about hibiscus during my research: The high antioxidants present in Hibiscus helps to reduce the risk of developing cancer, while the high levels of Vitamin C, is known to help boost immunity and may aid in weight loss.
It is used as an important ingredient in Chinese herbal medicine, and by Ayurvedic practices in India. Hibiscus has a long history that includes treating seborrhoeic of the scalp.
It promotes blood circulation, contributes to healthy skin, and acts as an astringent helping to reduce excessive oiliness from the hair and scalp. It also helps to tightens pores, prevents clogging of the pores, eliminates dandruff, and reduces excessive scaling, itching and redness of the scalp.
It is also good as a final hair rinse to stimulate hair growth, seal the hair cuticles, prevent premature graying, repair split ends, stop hair loss, and maintain natural hair color. An infusion can also be used to color premature gray hair
On the skin, add Hibiscus to your bath to restore the normal acid-alkaline balance, eliminate toxins, stimulates blood circulation and clear acne problems.
