I found out from a coworker today that honey was not particularly good for you. I had been using in place of sugar in my tea because I thought for some reason it was better (need to actually research these things!) Anyway, I tried this in my afternoon tea and it tastes just as good if not better than honey. It tastes sweeter too. Thanks for recommending this - no more processed sugar or honey for me!
From all the organic sweeteners I tried I like this one most. It's sweet, dissolves fast and has not bad extra taste. The only issue, if you let your coffee or tea stand for a while you will find the most of the sweetener at the bottom.
I am really stoked on discovering blue agave nectar. It has a low glycemic index and sweetens naturally without spiking blood sugar. Perfect for diabetics or anyone who is sensitive to blood sugar fluctuations. It's sort of like honey but is less dense and less messy. The raw version is definitely a sweeter version of the regular version. Tastes great! It made my cofffee sweet and perky!
This agave nectar is much sweeter than its non-raw counterpart. It also doesn't cause a blood sugar spike like regular sugar or many other sweeteners, so no sugar-rush or crash and burn effect!
This stuff is organic and raw, which is cool. And I've spoken with some of the people that work here and they are really great people.
The stuff is really good, but really sweet, so add a little and taste as you go otherwise you'll end up puckering like a crazy.
